Bruins Players Having Career Seasons in 2023-24
March 21, 2024 by Hannah Garfield
It has been an interesting season for the Boston Bruins. They’re currently first in the Atlantic Division and have the most points of any team in the NHL (97 with the Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, and New York Rangers right behind them with 94). They’re not on the same historic pace as they were in 2022-23, but it has certainly been a good season for the team despite several hiccups and concerns lingering as the playoffs get closer and closer.Â
Casey Mittelstadt Delivers Immediately for Avalanche
March 21, 2024 by Kerry Collins
The Colorado Avalanche have been searching for a second-line center for a long time. They tried to fill the gap with a bunch of deals before the season, but it was a shrewd move at the trade deadline that might have solved the problem. The early returns from Casey Mittelstadt have shored up some of the depth scoring issues – just in time for the postseason.

Penguins Can Be Playoff Team in 2025 With Productive Offseason
March 21, 2024 by Sylvie McCarthy
This season has not gone as expected for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Their playoff hopes are on life support, and they just traded one of their best players. It feels like the front office has thrown in the towel this season and is already preparing for 2024-25. Whether or not Pittsburgh makes a postseason appearance, there are still bright spots to be excited about.Â
Winless Home Stand: How are the Kraken This Bad in Seattle?
March 21, 2024 by Edgar Chaput
On Friday, March 8, the Seattle Kraken were getting ready to host the Winnipeg Jets at Climate Pledge Arena. It was the first of a five-game home stand, with the Kraken vying for a Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. They still trailed the Vegas Golden Knights by six points and the Los Angeles Kings by eight. On the flip side, they had defeated the Jets in Winnipeg earlier that week, so there was hope. Flash forward 11 days and five games later, and the Kraken improved their points tally by just one. How did we get here?
3 What-if Maple Leafs Goaltending Scenarios
March 21, 2024 by The Old Prof
The Toronto Maple Leafs‘ goalie situation this season has been tumultuous. Initially, the plan seemed to revolve around duelling goalies. Ilya Samsonov would be 1A, and Joseph Woll would be groomed to be the team’s 1B. Additionally, during the offseason, general manager Brad Treliving, opted to sign veteran Martin Jones as an insurance policy.
