Two THW contributors sit down and chat about whether Erik Karlsson could be on his way back to Ottawa.
Erik Karlsson is one of the greatest Senators to ever play for the team, and with the current direction the Pittsburgh Penguins are taking, is the possibility of a return to Ottawa for Karlsson realistic?
Whether you think it is realistic or not, it is fun to think about. Here is a chat between Penguins writer Jordan Orth and myself about whether or not it should be done, and what the cost could look like.

The team needs a shut-down right-handed defenseman, and Karlsson is the complete opposite, but why not try? Fellow Senators Mount Rushmore member, and fellow Swede, Daniel Alfredsson is on the coaching staff, so there is that too.
There is certainly an argument for and against the move. The brain says that it doesn’t make sense right now and the Senators don’t need him.
The heart, however, says you take any chance you get to bring him back.
