Rangers Prospect Spotlight: Dylan Roobroeck
The Rangers have a stronger prospect pool than most realize, and Roobroeck is an underrated piece to their potential future
The New York Rangers have a strong prospect pool, and many fans know the names of some of the top prospects coming up. Brennan Othmann, Gabriel Perreault, and Ryder Korczak are just a few players who could be big parts of the Rangers’ future, but another prospect has made big waves this season and deserves extra recognition. His name is Dylan Roobroeck.
Roobroeck was drafted in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Rangers at 178th overall after a solid season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Oshawa Generals where he scored 15 goals and added 38 assists for 53 points through 68 games.
