Bruins need to get playing like earlier in the season and stop playing defensive when they get a lead. Most of the team are making hits and trying to get the puck. Some defence need to improve and stop making stupid mistakes as they are pros not amateurs. Last night one defence made several mistakes but he is young and will make mistakes but not like he did last night. Power play needs to get better and maybe it's time to try different players and stop relying on the top two as they are only giving 80%.
What is up with the Bruins. Another lead let go and yes I blame Marchie as he give the puck away at the blue line. Another stupid penalty for too many men on the ice. We are having problems scoring but our goalies do not mind getting an assist on a goal for the other team. Only 3 wins in last 10 games and if not careful we could slip to a wildcard position within 2 weeks.
IMO, I have always thought they are a wild card team. They have been playing way over their heads this year and I think they are coming back to earth. This is what I think they are and they are not a team that I would expect to win a playoff series unless something changes. They are a flawed team and I think a lot of people are just starting to realize it.
If the Bruins would shoot more maybe we would have goal scores with min 15 goals per player. Marchie needs to get off the ice faster when lines change and stop giving the puck up which has generated goals fof the other teams in 4 of 5 games.
Scott I agree they do not have enough goal scores bug if they would shoot the puck 0n net more then maybe we would score more goals. Lines need to improve with current personnel. Marchie needs to limited his time on the ice as he has caused several goals against in recent games. For now we have deal with what we have and hope we can get back on track of winning
No trades as Sweeney does not know what he is doing. STOP PLAYING PASTA AND MARCHIE TOGETHER IN OVERTIME. Also maybe it's time for Marchie to go to figure skating school and learn new moves. Also all players must learn on how to shoot the puck on net vs passing as it may result in more goals. Also when going off for a change get to the bench faster rather just coasting.
I agree with everything Ray. The overtime combinations are suspect at best and Pastrnak feels like he does more hurt out than good in OT. They have become a pass-happy team and I don't think they have enough goal scorers right now.
