There is news out of Seattle today as the Seattle Kraken have announced that they will be making a coaching change and are relieving Dave Hakstol of his duties as head coach. The Kraken missed the playoffs this season with an underwhelming 34-35-13 record en route to a sixth-place finish in the Pacific Division.
Hellebuyck, Demko & Bobrovsky Named Vezina Trophy Finalists

Connor Helleybuck, Thatcher Demko, and Sergei Bobrovsky were named finalists for the Vezina Trophy, awarded every season “to the goaltender adjudged to be the best at his position.” The finalists are determined by the NHL general managers after the regular season. Here is what each player accomplished this season to earn the nod.

And they have the guy who should be Hart trophy winner. Most creative player in the NHL. Breadman. You watch him with your mouth agape at the things he is able to do and not just because he is fast or big or has a great shot. Because his success comes from in his creative mind.
You’ve got to be kidding me. All this hockey talk on teams down 3-1 and how they can win, fired coaches, San Jose awards. And the New York Rangers do NOT GET ONE mention, THey won the President’s trophy, were first in the playoffs, and were the only team to eliminate their first round opponent in a sweep. What does THW have against them. ESPN shows the same disrespect as does the NHL radio network. WAKE UP to the best team in hockey.
