March 27, 2024 by Chase Beardsley
There have been some special games at Mullett Arena for the Arizona Coyotes. The first-ever game at the building against the Winnipeg Jets, the comeback against the Colorado Avalanche, and the win streak against the five most recent Stanley Cup champions. However, none have been more special than Tuesday’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Hockey World Blasts Viral Video Discrediting Hyman’s 50 Goals
March 27, 2024 by Jim Parsons
On Tuesday, one “journalist” decided to stand on his soapbox and use Zach Hyman, of all people, as a poster boy for his beef with other members of the media ignoring the fact that money, connections, and privilege play a role in many athlete’s progression from a young age to the professional ranks. Suggesting that Hyman’s 50-goal season is clouded because the media is choosing to leave out the unromantic part that Hyman’s family is rich, Andrew Berkshire posted a nearly four-minute video reprimanding other journalists.

5 Devils the NHL Should Consider for Its Upcoming Amazon Series
March 27, 2024 by Josh Reinitz
While much of the drama at the NHL general manager meetings this week centered on potential rule changes and other tweaks to improve competitive balance, one of the more interesting reports is that the league has signed off on a documentary series to be produced and aired on Amazon next fall. The series is tentatively titled Fire on Ice and will be produced by the same company that made Full Swing and Drive to Survive. The NHL hopes that showcasing its young superstars will resonate with a younger fan base, like Formula 1 did after Drive to Survive, extending its popularity to North America to the point it now regularly holds races on the continent.

March 27, 2024 by Mitchell Hartman
The Dallas Stars have been one of the NHL’s premier teams this season. They’re currently tied with the Colorado Avalanche for first in the Central Division and are one of seven teams within one point of the top spot in the league. Scoring has been a bright spot for the Stars, and their 264 goals scored rank second in the league, behind the Avalanche.
Flyers Should Keep Attard & Ginning in the NHL
March 27, 2024 by Justin Giampietro
Defensemen Jamie Drysdale and Nick Seeler‘s return to practice on Tuesday was great news for the Philadelphia Flyers‘ defense. Being without Drysdale for about a month and Seeler for three weeks has been difficult during the team’s playoff push, given their importance to the lineup. Nonetheless, the Flyers survived a 10-game schedule, against nine playoff teams without them, posting a 4-4-2 record.
