There is a trio of teams in the Atlantic Division that have been in some long-term rebuilds. The Ottawa Senators, Detroit Red Wings, and Buffalo Sabres have all missed the playoffs for seven or more straight seasons, but as it stands today, none of those teams are a lock for a playoff spot in 2024-25.
