Minnesota Wild’s Offense on Fire in Preseason Win Over Jets
The Minnesota Wild hosted the Winnipeg Jets for their third preseason game and first at home. While they didn’t field their full NHL roster yet, they included some big names for their hometown fans. Kirill Kaprizov, Ryan Hartman, Mats Zuccarello, Joel Eriksson Ek, Yakov Trenin, Brock Faber, Jake Middleton, and Marc-André Fleury made preseason debuts for the Wild.
Wild Prepare to Take on Jets in Preseason Home Opener
Tonight’s preseason home opener versus the Winnipeg Jets will feature the Minnesota Wild’s headliners. Marc-André Fleury is expected to play 60 minutes in his first preseason appearance. Tonight’s game will also feature Minnesota’s top players upfront and on the backend, while also featuring some of the team’s top prospects. (Tonight’s lineup vs. Jets)
Revisiting the Wild’s Disappointing 2018-19 Prospect Pool
Sometimes, we get so caught up in trying to move forward and grow that we forget to look back at where we came from and enjoy the present. The last few years the Minnesota Wild have been able to build one of the best prospect pools in the entire NHL, while still managing to be a competitive playoff-caliber team, but that wasn’t always the case.
Wild’s Lauko Stood Out in Preseason Loss to Stars
The Minnesota Wild played their second game of the preseason Wednesday night, Sept. 25, against the Dallas Stars in Dallas and lost 5-2. Things didn’t go as well as their first game when they beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-2, but there were some promising signs. The Wild had a young lineup, while the Stars had most of their veterans playing.
