Winnipeg Jets' Lineup Predictions for 2024-25
After another early exit from the playoffs, the Winnipeg Jets have a lot of decisions to make ahead of next season.
From top to bottom, the Winnipeg Jets are going to look a lot different come opening night in October. There is a vacant coaching position, there is a handful of quality UFA’s, and there are some players heading into the last season of their deal that needs to get figured out.
On top of all that, it is apparent that they need a bit of a change to the roster construction after another first-round exit.
In this piece, we will be looking at the management, head coach, top-six, defense and goaltending all separately. Each section will have two responses. One will be a prediction of what I THINK will happen, while the other will be what I think SHOULD happen.
Management
To be honest, there haven’t been many offseasons where I felt this comfortable moving forward with Kevin Cheveldayoff as the general manager. He did some good work through this season and made some quality additions to the team. This is just after signing Scheifele and Hellebuyck to matching deals ahead of the first game.
