Macklin Celebrini went first overall, and Artyom Levshunov followed suit. The weekend was filled with shocking selections, bombshell trades, and constant media buzz. While it is still early, which players and teams benefitted the most from the weekend’s affairs?
Winner: San Jose Sharks
The San Jose Sharks landed elite talent Celebrini with the first overall pick and were already winners. From there, it only got better. They landed defenseman Sam Dickinson at 11th, forward Igor Chernyshov at 33rd, and defenseman Leo Sahlin Wellenius, at 53rd.
