Wild Report Cards 2023-24: Zach Bogosian

The offseason continues to move day by day for the Minnesota Wild, and while they’ve been relatively quiet other than the firing of Darby Hendrickson, it’s time for another report card. We’re still moving through the defensemen; this time, the grade is for Zach Bogosian. He joined the Wild last November in a trade, and while he wasn’t a star for them, he made an impact.

It’s time for another Minnesota Wild season report card and after writing up the bottom two defensemen recently, it’s time for another defenseman, who was in and out of the lineup but not because of poor play. Declan Chisholm was picked up off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets at the end of January.

Revisiting the Cal Clutterbuck-Nino Niederreiter Trade

In the years when the New York Islanders consistently finished at the bottom of the standings, then-general manager Garth Snow made one of the most talked-about trades among Islanders fans. It was a simple swap of Nino Niederreiter for Cal Clutterbuck, but the deal will always be debated. Let’s take a look back at the trade that was made on July 1, 2013, between the Islanders and the Minnesota Wild.
