Wild’s Marc-André Fleury Returns for One Final Season

The Minnesota Wild officially announced yesterday that they re-signed veteran and future Hall of Fame goaltender Marc-André Fleury, also known as “Flower,” to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million, about $1 million less than his prior contract. While this does solidify them having a solid goaltender for next season, it also leaves some questions that will have to be answered this offseason.

It’s been a couple of days since the University of Denver Pioneers shocked everyone in the Frozen Four Championship by taking down the number one Boston College Eagles in a 2-0 shutout win. Most people doubted the Pioneers could get it done, let alone keep the Eagles off the scoreboard entirely; it was expected to be an absolute domination by the Eagles.

Minnesota Wild 2023-24 Obituary: Caged Up With No Playoffs

One of the more surprising teams to miss out on the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs is the Minnesota Wild. The Wild were officially eliminated from the postseason with a loss on April 9 to the Colorado Avalanche in which they surrendered five goals.
Wild’s Kaprizov Took Charge in Win Over Kings

The Minnesota Wild faced the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night, April 15, for their final road game of the season. The points no longer matter for the Wild, but they still had some competition, especially the youngsters looking to earn a spot next season. The Wild started things with a power play goal later in the first, temporarily quieting the Kings fans.
