Sabres News & Rumors: Power, Luukkonen, Bryson & Thompson
March 10, 2024 by The Old Prof
On Saturday afternoon, the Buffalo Sabres faced the Edmonton Oilers in what turned out to be one of the oddest endings I’ve seen in a game – ever. The game was intense, almost playoff-like. The Oilers had the bulk of the play, but the Sabres hung in there. Despite falling behind early, they rallied to overcome a two-goal deficit and eventually finished with a thrilling 3-2 shootout victory over the Oilers.

March 9, 2024 by Sartaaj Bhullar
In this edition of the Vancouver Canucks News & Rumors, general manager (GM) Patrik Allvin discussed why the club didn’t make any moves on deadline day. Additionally, the organization offered Filip Hronek a contract extension. Also, the Canucks didn’t sign Phil Kessel.
Bruins News & Rumors: Lindholm, Maroon, Swayman & More
March 9, 2024 by Scott Roche
In this edition of Boston Bruins News & Rumors, the 2024 trade deadline has come and gone on Friday (March 8) with General Manager (GM) Don Sweeney making two trades. Boston might get a key part of their defense back as soon as Saturday (March 9) against the Pittsburgh Penguins while another has likely played his final game wearing the Spoked-B. The Bruins were linked to a lot of rumors and one of them was regarding their goaltender Linus Ullmark, while Sweeney signed a defenseman to a well-earned contract for next season.
Maple Leafs News & Rumors: Woll, Knies, Marchand & Playoff Match
March 8, 2024 by The Old Prof
The Toronto Maple Leafs‘ 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on Thursday reflected their overall performance during the game. They seemed fatigued and unable to match the speed and intensity of the Bruins.
While both teams had a busy schedule, playing three games in four nights, the Maple Leafs also played an overtime game on Wednesday. The travel between Toronto and Boston likely added to the Blue & White’s exhaustion. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the Maple Leafs failed to show up, and the Bruins capitalized on their lackluster performance.
