Maple Leafs & Coyotes Have the Pieces to Make a Deadline Deal
February 25, 2024 by Spencer Lazary
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been performing exceptionally well lately; their momentum seems to have been ignited by the five-game suspension of Morgan Rielly. In his absence, the team went 5-0 and looked like a brand-new team. Before the suspension was announced, there was some anxiety among Maple Leafs fans because they would lose their team’s top defenceman for an uncertain amount of time. However, they battled, overcame the adversity, and played extremely well. This personally means that Brad Treliving should reward the club.
Penguins & Kyle Dubas Already Regretting Karlsson Trade
February 25, 2024 by Jordan Orth
When general manager Kyle Dubas made his first big move with the Pittsburgh Penguins by bringing in defenseman Erik Karlsson in a trade with the San Jose Sharks (and Montreal Canadiens), the hope was that he would help bring another deep playoff push for an aging Penguins team.

Rangers Risk Repeat of Girardi Situation with a Lindgren Extension
February 25, 2024 by Tom Castro
Lindgren is as tough as they come. There’s little doubt that his perseverance and refusal to let bumps, bruises, cuts and worse keep him from performing for his team serves as a source of inspiration for the Rangers, who see someone who provides total commitment night after night. In this determined, salt-of-the-earth player, however, the organization is in danger of going down the same road it took a decade ago – to results that bordered on disastrous.
The 4 Hart Trophy Frontrunners Making Good Cases for the Award
February 25, 2024 by Mike Fink
The 2023-24 season has put together one of the most exciting Hart Trophy races in recent memory and possibly of all time. Usually, there is a clear favorite or it’s a two-player race with one of them standing out as the one most serving of the award. This season, four skaters have a strong argument to win the Hart Trophy, and one skater worthy of winning it won’t even be a finalist.
Blues’ Realistic Trade Partners for Pavel Buchnevich
February 25, 2024 by Evan Mead
The St. Louis Blues fanbase is embroiled in a debate surrounding Pavel Buchnevich as the trade deadline looms. Opinions are split into three camps: one sees him as the missing piece for a playoff push, another doubts his impact, and a third advocates for a broader team retooling. This division underscores differing assessments of the team’s present competitiveness and long-term goals, fueling discussions among fans and analysts.
