3 Bruins Under the Microscope in 2023-24
August 29, 2023 by Scott Roche
When the Boston Bruins begin training camp in September at Warrior Ice Arena, there are going to be several storylines to keep an eye on. Gone are franchise foundation pieces Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, which leaves a huge hole up the middle at center.
As the season goes along, we will be getting answers to some of the questions facing the Bruins as to how their centers will play without their two leaders for nearly two decades and where are they going to get secondary scoring from. As Boston gets ready to embark on a new season in 2023-24, here are three players who are going to be under the microscope this upcoming season.

August 29, 2023 by The Old Prof
Two weeks ago, David Krejci announced his retirement from the Boston Bruins and the NHL after 16 seasons. In his announcement, he expressed gratitude to Cam Neely and Don Sweeney for giving him the time to make this decision. Krejci also thanked the Jacobs family and the Bruins organization for believing in him throughout his career.
Bruins’ Zacha Earning Coach Montgomery’s Trust
August 29, 2023 by Brandon Share-Cohen
There have been questions this offseason surrounding the Boston Bruins and how they’ll configure their lines heading into the 2023-24 season. This was accentuated when both Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci opted to hang up their skates and retire this offseason, leaving the Bruins with Pavel Zacha and Charlie Coyle as the team’s top two center options.
The Rise & Fall of Andrew Raycroft
August 26, 2023 by Tony Wolak
Eighteen years ago, Boston Bruins goaltender Andrew Raycroft took the National Hockey League by storm. Boston’s fifth-round pick in 1998 had spent the previous three seasons bouncing back and forth on Interstate 95 between Boston and Providence.
In fact, a majority of Raycroft’s early professional career in the AHL, playing in 121 games on the Bruins’ farm club with a 56-48-13 record. However, the 2003-04 season was anything but average for Raycroft and the Bruins. It would prove vital to the future of the franchise.
