The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a three-year contract with Frank Nazar, one of the team's top prospects.

Leafs assign G Murray to AHL on LTIR conditioning loan
The Toronto Maple Leafs have assigned goaltender Matt Murray to the AHL's Toronto Marlies on an LTIR conditioning stint, the team announced on Saturday.

Quick Shifts: How concerning is Nylander's 'frustrating' slump?
The day William Nylander signed the richest contract in Toronto Maple Leafs history, the star forward was humming along at a ridiculous 47-goal, 120-point pace.
Now, with only three games left on the schedule, he is "stuck" at 96 points (still, a career best) and, with load management an option next week, may be hard-pressed to crack his desired target of 100 points.
Coyotes owner says he can't make official comment amid relocation news
Arizona Coyotes chairman and governor Alex Meruelo said he couldn't make any official public comments regarding the team's relocation in a statement released on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday.
"There has been a lot of discussion in recent days about the future of the Arizona Coyotes," Meruelo said in the statement. "We are focused on a myriad of issues that are unresolved, and therefore we are unable to make any official public comments at this time." Meruelo also committed to publicly addressing any concerns "as promptly as possible."
