Hosted by Kyle Knopp and Matthew Zator, The Hockey Writers Podcast is where your favourite THW contributors discuss the hottest topics around the NHL and hockey world, five days a week (Monday to Friday). In today’s episode, Kyle and Matthew get the podcast up and running again with a new Monday segment called "One Good, One Bad" where they highlight one good and one bad from the weekend that was. Kyle starts it off by discussing the eight Eastern Conference teams with 100 points while Matthew talks about the multitude of players with 100 points or more this season. Then the duo highlight the struggles of the Predators and Avalanche as they approach the playoffs.
In the second half of the show, they talk about Guy Lafleur's passing at 70 years old, his legacy and the impact he had on the Montreal Canadiens, their fans and the hockey world and Ryan Getzlaf's retirement after 17 years with the Anaheim Ducks. Finally, they end the show with their articles of the day.
