The Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday, Nov. 7 will face the Buffalo Sabres at home in PNC Arena. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two teams.
During the regular season last year, the Hurricanes won the season series 2-1-0 outscoring the Sabres 13-8 over three games.
Carolina comes into the game after beating the New York Islanders after coming back all the way down from 3-0 to win it in overtime 4-3. Sebastian Aho got the game-winning goal in overtime after Jesperi Kotkanimei tied the game in the third period. Kotkaniemi led the way with a goal and an assist in the comeback effort.
