Senators Back in Action Against Islanders
After a lengthy break, the Senators are finally back in action against the Islanders.
As Guy Boucher once said, rest is a weapon.
Let’s hope that stands true tonight. The Senators have played just two games in the last 13 days and those were overseas in Sweden. The Senators came out of that trip with a pair of wins which is great, but there are plenty of things to keep working on from those games.
The Islanders and Senators already played once this season. The Isles took that game 3-2 after breaking the tie in the third period. The Senators played well, but lost Erik Brannstrom and Thomas Chabot that game. They will be looking to get their win tonight.
