NHL Draft Lottery Deep Dives: Sabres Have 11th Overall Pick
Once again, the Buffalo Sabres were in the draft lottery and failed to move up, but that likely doesn’t bother GM Kevyn Adams. The 11th overall selection is one of the lowest the team has had in a decade, which shows that they may be on the precipice of leaving the lottery. But they’re certainly not complaining about having another high pick, which they’re sure to use to find another excellent prospect.

For teams on the outside of the NHL Playoffs, the focus has rightfully shifted to June’s NHL Draft. Most teams at the top of the draft likely have their lists ready to go and are excited to add a good young player. For the Buffalo Sabres, coming off the most disappointing season in recent memory, a major decision looms: “What should be done with the 11th overall pick?”
