Revisiting 3 Epic Flyers Playoff Clinches
April 15, 2024 by Andrew McGuinness
The playoff bubble is a stressful place to be at this time of year. With just a few days remaining in the 2023-24 regular season, two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference remain unclaimed. Flyers’ Travis Konecny Hits 400 Career Points
April 13, 2024 by Matthew Zator
Since being drafted 24th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2015, Travis Konecny has been pretty consistent over his NHL career. Debuting as a 19-year-old in 2016-17, he has five 20-goal seasons and has hit the 30-goal mark in the past two with a career-high 31 last season and now a new career-high of 33 this season. He opened the scoring against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday with his sixth shorthanded goal of the season, and with it became the eighth player from his draft class to reach the 400-point summit.

April 11, 2024 by Andrew McGuinness
One thing about the 2023-24 Philadelphia Flyers season has been clear from the start: making the playoffs was never the goal. The central message from the beginning of Daniel Brière and Keith Jones’ tenures as general manager and president of hockey operations, respectively, is that the franchise is committed to rebuilding the team the right way. Even as the Flyers surprisingly succeeded throughout the first half of the season, their commitment never changed. And forced to back up their words at the trade deadline, they did so by moving Sean Walker to the Colorado Avalanche, sacrificing a top-four mainstay to add another first-round pick to the organization.
