Red Wings Prospect Check-In: McIsaac Heads to Swiss League & Finnie's on Fire

The month of February has seen a few headlines when it comes to a few prospects in the Red Wings system. Whether it be roster movement or taking home league honors, it has been a quick start so far.
Jared McIsaac
When the Red Wings took Jared McIsaac in the second round in 2018 the hope was that they had gotten a steal in a defenseman who had sky-high upside but had fought injuries while playing juniors. But unfortunately, that has not been the case as McIsaac has consistently struggled more and more with injuries since making his jump to the professional ranks.
Jump forward to this season where he was once again with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL)… he had only played in 15 games for the Griffins and tallied four points in those games which has led to the organization reassigning him to HC Ambri-Piotta of the Swiss League for the foreseeable future.
