Ducks' Strong Third Not Enough in Home Finale Loss to Flames

With a 6-3 loss to the Calgary Flames last night (April 12), the home slate of the Anaheim Ducks’ 2023-24 season came to an end. It was an emotional roller coaster of a 41-game home schedule, which contained three Legacy Nights, triumphant wins, disappointing losses, several NHL debuts, and, as we just found out a couple of days ago, the retirement of longtime Duck, Jakob Silfverberg.
Ducks Look to Carry Strong Play Into Final Back-to-Back of Season

The Anaheim Ducks only have three games remaining in 2023-24, including their final back-to-back situation of the campaign. The Ducks will complete a four-game homestand by hosting the Calgary Flames on Friday (April 12) before visiting the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday (April 13). The Ducks will be off until Thursday (April 18) when the club plays on the road versus the Vegas Golden Knights in their regular-season finale.Â

With four games left in the regular season and a bottom-three finish secured, the Anaheim Ducks are putting the final pieces on a challenging 2023-24 season. Despite hopes that this season would signal the beginning of the end of their rebuild, injuries have plagued the Ducks all season, as their 25-48-5 record is only two wins better than a season ago.
