PWHL Playoff Race Taking Shape with 5 Games Remaining

With just five games remaining in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season for all six teams, the four-team playoff is shaping up. Two teams can clinch with a regulation win, another isn’t too far behind, while the last spot is semi-up for grabs but there’s a five-point lead for the club currently holding it.
USA, Canada Setting Rosters for Women’s World Championship

The 2024 IIHF Women’s World Hockey Championship features the best players from 10 nations competing for the coveted gold medal. The tournament, which begins on April 3 and will culminate with the bronze and gold-medal games on April 14, will be staged at Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y.
PWHL Minnesota’s Defense Contributes in Win vs Montréal

March in Minnesota typically means at least one big snowstorm; this time, there were two within three days. The latter of the two storms fell while PWHL Minnesota hosted PWHL Montréal on Sunday afternoon, March 24, where they also celebrated the Special Olympics during game festivities. It was the final game for both teams before the Professional Women’s Hockey League’s (PWHL) break for the Women’s World Championship.
