PWHL Minnesota Needs Top Line to Step up in Final Games

Now that the 2024 Women’s World Championship is officially over, with Team Canada taking down Team USA 6-5 in overtime to take home gold, it’s time to start thinking about the final games of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season and the postseason. PWHL Minnesota will restart their season later this evening against PWHL Montréal, with both teams battling for playoff position.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) postseason is approaching. As the Women’s World Championship wraps up in the next few days, the league will get back to play this Thursday, April 18. With that in mind, PWHL Minnesota must step up their game to get home ice for the postseason and succeed in the playoffs.

Canada Defeats US in Overtime to Win Women’s Gold

In a very different game then their preliminary-round matchup, Canada got an overtime goal from Danielle Serdachny to defeat the United States 6-5 in the IIHF Women’s World Championships.
