PWHL Minnesota Candidates for the 2026 Winter Olympics

With the recent announcement that the NHL will be permitted to participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina, Italy, it’s brought to question what players from PWHL Minnesota will be invited to partake on the women’s side. Eight of their players have participated in past Olympics, and combined, they have five gold medals, seven silvers, and two bronzes.
PWHL Could Add to Arizona’s Rich History In Women’s Hockey

The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has started its inaugural season on a high note. The league has been able to bring over most if not all of the best women in the sport which is impressive considering it has never been done before. On top of that, viewership is great with the league streaming all their games for free on YouTube, and attendance is good as well with PWHL Minnesota breaking the attendance record for a professional women’s hockey team. PWHL Toronto is threatening to break the record again when they play in Scotiabank Arena.
PWHL New York Pulls Off Miraculous Comeback Over Ottawa

The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) saw PWHL Ottawa host PWHL New York on Sunday afternoon. It was the first meeting between these two teams, and it was certainly an important matchup as they entered the game tied for fifth in the league with nine points. Ottawa did have two games in hand, meaning the game was much more important for New York, as they couldn’t afford to fall further behind in the standings.
PWHL Montreal Gets Revenge With Overtime Win in Boston

In the second Professional Women’s Hockey League game of the night on Sunday, PWHL Boston hosted PWHL Montreal at the Tsongas Center in a battle of two of the biggest names in the league. Marie-Phillip Poulin and Hilary Knight have respectively been the faces of the Canadian and American women’s hockey programs for a decade and they faced off for the second time of the season. In the first meeting between these two teams, Boston spoiled Montreal’s home opener, defeating them 3-2 in overtime.
