PWHL Minnesota Falls to Boston In Double OT Despite Many Chances

PWHL Minnesota was looking to make history and take home the first-ever Walter Cup as they took on PWHL Boston for Game 4 of the PWHL Finals in St. Paul on the same day their general manager Natalie Darwitz was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame. They were at home in front of a loud 13,104 crowd, and it was clear that the loud cheers motivated them. Despite a lot of action and big hits, the first period remained scoreless as both goaltenders were on top of everything.
PWHL Montreal 2024 Draft Targets

Over two weeks after the deadline for the players to declare themselves available for the Draft, the league has finally released the full list of aspiring players. 167 players representing 19 countries will be available to draft for the League’s six teams. Unlike the inaugural Draft, the second one will have only seven rounds and won’t be a snake draft.

PWHL Minnesota’s Leans on Top Line to Take Series Lead vs. Boston

Looking to turn the series in their favor, PWHL Minnesota took on PWHL Boston in Game 3 of the PWHL Finals back at home in St. Paul in front of a loud crowd of 9,054. It was a huge sports night in the Twin Cities as the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves, and PWHL Minnesota were all playing within miles of each other.
PWHL Minnesota Steps Up to Even Series Against Boston

Game 1 of the Professional Women’s Hockey League Final between PWHL Boston and PWHL Minnesota went to PWHL Boston, but Game 2 favored PWHL Minnesota. Game 2 started the same way as Game 1, with PWHL Minnesota jumping out to a lead, but they held it with no issues this time. The scoring started late in the first with two quick goals for PWHL Minnesota, and they held PWHL Boston off the scoreboard throughout the rest of the first.
