In today’s NHL rumors rundown, the Edmonton Oilers are said to be looking at the Washington Capitals ahead of the deadline and a couple of forwards might be on their radar. Meanwhile, it sounds like a lot of ground has been made up in Vancouver where Elias Pettersson might be close to signing an extension with the team. Is Vladimir Tarasenko being moved by the Ottawa Senators? And, is there any truth to rumors that Brady Tkachuk could be traded?

Tonight the Toronto Maple Leafs play the Arizona Coyotes on home ice. Last week Toronto went into Phoenix and beat the Coyotes easily. Can they do it again? Both teams are coming off losses and are hungry for wins. In addition, the Coyotes usually play the Maple Leafs tough, so the game could be close.

Things in the desert are at an all-time low, and it’s easy to see why. A short month and a half ago, fans were talking about the playoffs and how the Arizona Coyotes could sneak their way into the big dance. They were the definition of a dark horse contender, and if all the puzzle pieces go together, there might be some Mullett magic come April. However, that has become a fantasy, as the team has lost 12 straight games, and seemingly nothing is going their way.
For Toronto to win the Cup their stars have to stop being hotdogs and play hockey. Players must stop trying to impress the crowd by passing the puck thru their legs and hoping it works.i hope they still want to impress the crowd and lose then maybe Keefe will be fired along with players being traded. Toronto will not get put of the first round of the playoffs due the hotdogs on the team there are 5 players
