With the 2024 NHL Entry Draft in the rearview mirror, the Pittsburgh Penguins were able to add six new faces to the organization and their pipeline. While they did not have a first-round selection, general manager Kyle Dubas and his staff seemed to do a solid job with the choices they did make. Let’s take a look at the players that were picked by the Penguins this year.
Pittsburgh Penguins Acquire Kevin Hayes From the St. Louis Blues

The Pittsburgh Penguins are acquiring center Kevin Hayes from the St. Louis Blues, as reported by Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli. Hayes, 32, is entering the sixth season of a seven-year deal with a $7.142 million cap hit. The Philadelphia Flyers are already retaining 50 percent of it, having traded him to St. Louis last year.

Penguins Should Test Trade Interest in Tristan Jarry This Offseason

With the goaltender market seemingly heating up and numerous teams being rumored to be trying to acquire a goalie via trade, a team that may have one that could pique the interest of others is the Pittsburgh Penguins. While they have not been talked about a whole lot as a team that could move their starting goalie, Tristan Jarry, there is reason to think that general manager Kyle Dubas should at least gauge the interest level around the league.
