In today’s NHL rumors rundown, Patrick Kane is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Detroit Red Wings. Why did he choose them over the many other teams that had rumored interest? In other news, a report suggests that the Toronto Maple Leafs were on the cusp of trading a member of the core four right before Kyle Dubas was fired and went on to take a job with the Pittsburgh Penguins. And, where are the Leafs at with John Klingberg? Finally, why did the Minnesota Wild fire Dean Evason?
Rangers News & Rumors: Fox, Kakko, Chytil & Roster Moves

In this latest edition of New York Rangers News & Rumors, Rangers star defenseman Adam Fox is inching closer to his much-anticipated return to the lineup. In other news, winger Kaapo Kakko suffered a scary leg injury last night (Nov. 27) against the Buffalo Sabres and has been placed on long-term injured reserve. Filip Chytil has also been placed on LTIR. Meanwhile, the Rangers have made a few other roster moves.

It’s the last Tuesday in November. That means it’s time for another edition of Columbus Blue Jackets News & Rumors. We hope that you and yours made the most of the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. If you’re anywhere else, well, we hope you had a good day.
When we last spoke, the Blue Jackets were mired in an 0-7-2 funk that plummeted them to last place in the Eastern Conference. They wake up on this Tuesday morning in last place by points percentage. But by points, they no longer have the fewest in the East. That distinction now belongs to the Ottawa Senators.
