In today’s NHL rumors rundown, the Edmonton Oilers played a solid game on Friday and won against the Washington Capitals. GM Ken Holland is still looking for trade options, but is the team’s first-round draft pick in 2024 on the table? Meanwhile, Patrick Kane has narrowed down his choices to a couple of teams and one of the early favorites might be out of the running now. Finally, what is going on with Corey Perry in Chicago? GM Kyle Davidson offered an update on Perry’s status with the team and how long he’ll be away.

Maple Leafs News & Rumors: Samsonov, Domi, Reaves & More

The Toronto Maple Leafs let the Chicago Blackhawks hang around and it cost them the win. The Blue & White eventually fell short in the overtime period, when a crazy bounce cost them the victory. In the end, the Blackhawks emerged with a 4-3 win to halt their five-game losing streak. Now the Maple Leafs are on a one-game losing streak.
It was a thrilling game at the United Center in Chicago, but mostly for the Blackhawks fans. Rookie defenseman Kevin Korchinski scored the overtime winner with 30 seconds remaining in the extra period. Jason Dickinson scored all three of the other Blackhawks goals and picked up his first career hat trick. The win provided a boost for the last-place Blackhawks.
Sabres News & Rumors: Okposo, Luukkonen, Skinner & Olofsson

Late heroics from Alex Tuch were the difference in a 3-2 comeback victory for the Buffalo Sabres against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday (Nov. 24). Tuch’s goal, coupled with Jeff Skinner’s goal and assist, helped fuel the Sabres’ resurgence. Kyle Okposo’s spirited play also inspired the team’s comeback.
