Oilers’ Broberg Makes Big Impression in Brief Return to Edmonton
April 21, 2024 by Brian Swane
There isn’t much good that can be said about the final two games of the 2023-24 NHL regular season for the Edmonton Oilers. Looking every bit like a team that had already locked up its playoff seed, Edmonton sleepwalked through a 5-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes in Tempe on Wednesday (Apr. 17) and barely showed up for a 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche in Denver on Thursday (Apr. 18).

Who Plays, Who Sits In Oilers’ First-Round Series with Kings
April 19, 2024 by Jim Parsons
The Edmonton Oilers now know their first-round opponent in the 2023-24 NHL playoffs. For the third consecutive season, it will be the Oilers vs. the Los Angeles Kings and while the Oilers have the edge on paper, there are some tough decisions ahead. A similar team to last season, there are some minor differences on this Oilers roster, not the least of which is a rookie head coach who will have some roster choices to make.
