Nikolaj Ehlers Needs More Ice Time - A Never-Ending Story
Ehlers remains one of the most underrated NHL players, but he could get more appreciation if he played more hockey.
The Winnipeg Jets are still a very good hockey team. They hit a mid-season slump which certainly had some people worried, but after three wins in a row and a 5-4-1 record in their last ten, I think it is safe to say they are in a better position than last season.
One thing that could really help this team win is Nikolaj Ehlers. The Jets are as healthy as they could ask for, and yet Ehlers is still struggling to find ice time. When you have one of the best wingers in the game, it is pretty crazy that he is only averaging 16:16 of ice time per game. It would make sense if he was struggling, but this season, Ehlers ranks first on the Jets in 5v5 points per 60 minutes, and 44th in the league. This team needs more Ehlers.
