Today’s date is chock-full of great Stanley Cup playoff moments. May 13 has seen plenty of National Hockey League memories, including some epic comebacks, overtime history, and series-clinching wins. Let’s begin our daily trip back in time to relive all the best moments.
The NHL’s Most Unbreakable Playoff Records
A while back we sat down together and opened the NHL’s record book in search of some of the game’s most unbreakable records. While Wayne Gretzky’s name is found throughout the history of the game, it was decided that other marks, including Darryl Sittler’s 10-point game, Bobby Orr’s 110-point season and Glenn Hall’s consecutive games played records were also unachievable in today’s game.

As the NHL equivalent to a Most Valuable Player award, the Hart Memorial Trophy is the league’s most coveted award. Often times it coincides with the league’s top goal-scorer or point producer, but sometimes a surprise winner emerges.
