Hugo Lejon – 2024 NHL Draft Prospect Profile
June 26, 2024 by William Espy
Hugo Lejon is a hard player to project coming into this year’s draft. He went undrafted in the 2023 NHL Draft, and now he’s re-entering as an overager. He’s known more for his offensive ability, but he’s still a very raw talent despite being in the draft for the second time. His 2023-24 season in the J20 Nationell was considerably more impressive than his 2022-23 season as he finished tied for sixth in the league with 61 points. His goal total took a massive step forward this season though, as he went from just nine goals in 46 games last season, to 27 in the same amount of games this season.
Filip Sitar – 2024 NHL Draft Prospect Profile
June 26, 2024 by William Espy
Filip Sitar is a player with a very high hockey IQ and great vision. Unfortunately, for the most part, his physical skill doesn’t quite match his mental abilities. He played both on the penalty kill and the power play this season with the Malmo Redhawks J20 team in the J20 Nationell, but he doesn’t have any skills that truly make him a standout player. He brings a great work ethic, but there are certainly concerns as to whether or not he’ll be able to ever reach the NHL. Neither his offensive nor his defensive abilities show enough upside for him to be seen as a legitimate NHL prospect at this point. He was eligible to be drafted during the 2023 NHL Draft but was not selected. As a result, he’s re-entering the draft as an overager.

Ivan Demidov’s Draft Stock Could Be Impacted By Matvei Michkov Update
June 26, 2024 by Jesse Courville-Lynch
The 2024 NHL Entry Draft is just days away, and while two teams just finished playing in the Stanley Cup Final and likely haven’t shifted their focus to prospect selections yet, the rest of the NHL is mainly focused on who they’ll be selecting. While the draft comes with plenty of risks in the first round, one of the biggest stories coming out of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft was the story of Russian forward Matvei Michkov, who was expected to remain in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for several seasons before coming to North America. He dropped to seventh overall after being a projected top-five selection, simply because some teams worried he wouldn’t leave Russia. With the recent update being released that Michkov would be joining the Philadelphia Flyers for the 2024-25 season, there is another Russian prospect whose stock could be impacted by this news.
Kristian Epperson – 2024 NHL Draft Prospect Profile
June 26, 2024 by JP Gambatese
If there’s one word to describe Kristian Epperson’s game, it’s “motor.” He’s got some of the highest energy in the entire draft class, which he uses primarily to annoy opponents in the offensive zone with a relentless forecheck. On the same token, he uses that same energy on the opposite side of the ice, aggressively and efficiently backchecking without sacrificing defensive positioning.
