MacKinnon, Matthews & Kucherov Named Ted Lindsay Award Finalists

On Wednesday, Nikita Kucherov, Nathan MacKinnon, and Auston Matthews were named finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award. The Ted Lindsay Award (formerly the Lester B. Pearson Award) is presented annually to the “most outstanding player” in the NHL as voted by fellow members of the National Hockey League Players’ Association.

The NHL has revealed the finalists for the Hart Memorial Trophy, awarded to the league’s most valuable player. It’s the three we have talked about nearly the entire season: Nikita Kucherov, Nathan MacKinnon and the reigning MVP, Connor McDavid.
Back to Black: Lightning Success In the New Third Jerseys

On Thursday, Feb. 15, just hours ahead of their home game against the Colorado Avalanche, the Tampa Bay Lightning revealed a new alternate jersey. These new black jerseys were designed to honor the full winning history of the team. On the inside of the collar, you’ll find three years printed on it: ‘04, ‘20 and ‘21. These are three years they won the Stanley Cup.
