Islanders Can't Keep Deploying Depth Players Like Cizikas In Top Six

The New York Islanders have found a way to steal a game against the Carolina Hurricanes – but they must learn from their mistakes in how they got in this uncomfortable position in the first place.

It’s widely known the team lacks prowess compared to the top-heavy teams but giving big minutes to a bottom six players must change. This includes Casey Cizikas and Hudson Fasching.

Cizikas and Fasching Have Never Proven Capability

While we can respect the roles they play, the issue is that neither player has proven they can thrive or even handle a top-six role.
