Two full weeks are down for the Boston Bruins in the 2023-24 season and what a start it’s been. Sitting a 6-0-0, they are one of three remaining teams that have yet to suffer a regulation loss this season, along with the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights. The start to the season equals the best start in franchise history, tied with the 1937-38 Black and Gold.

After completing their annual California road trip, the Boston Bruins headed to the American Midwest to face the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 24. Although the Bruins’ schedule has not been very kind to them in terms of travel, they were energized in this contest, and beat the Blackhawks by a 3-0 final score to improve to a perfect 6-0-0 record. Overall, it was another strong game by the Bruins, and let’s go over three notable takeaways from the contest now.

The Boston Bruins have had a hot start to the 2023-24 season, winning each of their first five games. If they continue to have this kind of success as the season continues, they will likely be buyers at the trade deadline yet again this campaign.
