Golden Knights’ Top 5 Trade Deadline Targets
March 4, 2024 by Ben Fisher
It practically seems like an inevitability at this time of year, but the Vegas Golden Knights have once again managed to emerge as a central player ahead of the March 8 NHL Trade Deadline. With a clear need at forward on account of the prolonged absences of Jack Eichel and Mark Stone (and William Carrier, Brett Howden, and Pavel Dorofeyev, to a lesser extent), the Golden Knights seem to be in the middle of everything, as they so often are heading into the deadline.
3 Trade Destinations for Devils’ Tyler Toffoli
March 3, 2024 by JP Gambatese
This past off-season, GM Tom Fitzgerald and the New Jersey Devils acquired stud winger Tyler Toffoli from the Calgary Flames in exchange for a third-round pick and forward Yegor Sharangovich. Fast forward about nine months, and the Devils might be looking to move Toffoli as their playoff hopes dwindle with each coming day. Toffoli, 31, leads the team in goals (26) and power-play goals (eight) and sits third in total points (44). Should the Devils pack it in for the season and decide to sell Toffoli rather than extend him, he should be an incredibly enticing option for contending teams in the market for a winger, especially at a reasonable $4.25 million cap hit that could be retained.
Oilers and Golden Knights Competing for Same Deadline Forwards
February 29, 2024 by Jim Parsons
According to Darren Dreger, the Edmonton Oilers and Vegas Golden Knights have emerged as two teams aggressively going after the same forwards at this season’s NHL Trade Deadline. Mentioning in a recent TSN Insider Trading segment that the Oilers and Golden Knights are pursuing names like Tyler Toffoli, Pavel Buchnevich, and Jordan Eberle, both teams are willing to push hard for players they believe will help at that necessary piece for their top six.
Blues’ Realistic Trade Partners for Pavel Buchnevich
February 25, 2024 by Evan Mead
The St. Louis Blues fanbase is embroiled in a debate surrounding Pavel Buchnevich as the trade deadline looms. Opinions are split into three camps: one sees him as the missing piece for a playoff push, another doubts his impact, and a third advocates for a broader team retooling. This division underscores differing assessments of the team’s present competitiveness and long-term goals, fueling discussions among fans and analysts.
