For the Philadelphia Flyers entering the 2024 NHL Draft, all that truly matters is their 12th overall pick. They have a good chance to land a high-end prospect there, and it could be a huge benefit to their rebuild.

One of the more interesting developments, though, will be what they do with the latter of their first-round picks. Since that selection is from the Florida Panthers and they’re in the Eastern Conference Final, the absolute earliest it can be is 29th overall, while the latest it can be is 32nd if they win the Stanley Cup.

Regardless of where the Flyers select pick-wise, the main players they will be targeting should still be on the board. One of those could be, arguably, one of the most underrated of the potential first-round prospects: Nikita Artamonov.

The left winger was sensational during his age-18 campaign in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), boasting elite production for a player so young. What is there to like about his game?
