Flyers Potential 2024 Draft Picks: Berkly Catton
The 18-year-old center is an intriguing prospect. Why should the Flyers take him?
The 2024 NHL Draft Lottery is officially set for May 7, and the Philadelphia Flyers have the 10th-best odds to end up picking 2nd overall at 5.1 percent. While that would be a wonderful outcome, they are very likely to stay at 12th and pick there with 85.7 percent odds of that happening.
Luckily for the Flyers, there is a lot of ammo at that spot. They really can’t go wrong with many players. If he falls down to them, center Berkly Catton would be a fabulous snag.
Why Catton Is an Elite Player
Despite having the potential to fall to the Flyers at 12, Catton is arguably the second-best center in the draft. With the Spokane Chiefs in the Western Hockey League (WHL) in 2023-24, he had 54 goals and 62 assists for 116 points in 68 contests.
