Flyers’ Return to Form Better Late Than Never
Seemingly out of thin air, the Flyers went from playing their worst hockey all season long for eight games, losing all of them, to their best following their 9-3 loss to the Canadiens. It probably came a little bit too late, since the Flyers are going to need help to make the playoffs now instead of already being in if they were to have gotten just a couple of wins during that stretch, but at least they saw some improvement.
Goaltending and defense were a huge issue for the Flyers, but those concerns vanished over the Flyers’ last two games. Whatever the cause was for it, they started playing at their absolute best after the opposite was true.
