“Obviously he’s done so much for the city of Pittsburgh and for the Penguins … I want his opinion, I value his opinion,” said Kyle Dubas when he spoke to the media about what’s next between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sidney Crosby. Dubas wants the veteran superstar to be in the loop on big organizational decisions. At the same time, the GM noted, “We may not always agree and I might have to do things in the short run he disagrees with.”
Herein lies the issue between Crosby and the only team he’s ever played for. He wants to go one way, and they’re effectively looking to go another.
