Devils Can Trade With Blues to Address Needs
June 17, 2024 by Josh Reinitz

Devils Should Trade for Patrik Laine
June 7, 2024 by Josh Reinitz
Pierre LeBrun reported on TSN’s Insider Trading that the Columbus Blue Jackets and forward Patrik Laine are looking to facilitate a fresh start for the player. The former 2016 second-round pick’s season ended after just 18 games with a broken clavicle. Soon after suffering the injury, Laine checked himself into the NHL’s Player Assistance Program to treat his mental health.
Devils Need to End the Alexander Holtz Experiment
June 13, 2024 by Erica Rosenbaum
In 2020, the New Jersey Devils drafted a Swedish winger who was believed to have the best shot in his draft class. Fast forward 110 NHL games later and Alexander Holtz has not been able to live up to expectations. At the time, New Jersey was in desperate need of a scoring winger and drafted Holtz to fill that void. Today, the team gained more depth on the wing, while also trying to give him playing time.
