Gauthier, Dostál, and Vatrano Star for Ducks in Season Finale Win
April 19, 2024 by Jordan Reinhardt
Well, is it fair to say that the Anaheim Ducks had the Vegas Golden Knights’ number this 2023-24 regular season? I sure think so. After their season-opening loss on Oct. 14 to the reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Ducks outscored the Golden Knights 13-5 and took the final three games of the season series. The wins were three of the Ducks’ best performances of the season.
With the win, the curtain has closed on the 30th season in franchise history. Not quite the season that anyone had in mind, but game 82 gave us plenty of reasons both to be happy about the season that was and excited about what lies ahead. For the final time this season, let’s take a look at the takeaways.

As a rebuilding team, a bulk of the progress to make Anaheim competitive will happen during the offseason. Between now and the beginning of training camp in September, the Ducks will be one of the busier teams off the ice. Let’s look at the offseason ahead and what we can expect, from the draft lottery to development camps. Not every date is confirmed, but last year’s dates are included to get an idea of the potential schedule..Â

Anaheim Ducks Sign Top Prospect Cutter Gauthier
April 14, 2024 by Jim Bay
The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Cutter Gauthier to a three-year entry-level contract beginning this season.
The 20-year-old was acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman Jamie Drysdale, and a 2025 second-round selection on Jan. 8. Gauthier has scored the most goals among NCAA skaters the past two seasons (54), recording 54-48=102 points in 73 career games at Boston College.
