Canadiens Sign Lane Hutson to Entry-Level Contract
April 12, 2024 by Blain Potvin
The Montreal Canadiens have signed one of their top defensive prospects, defenseman Lane Hutson, to a three-year entry-level contract. Canadiens fans didn’t have to wait long, as less than 24 hours after his college season ended in a heartbreaking overtime loss to Denver University in the Frozen Four semi-finals, Hutson chose to turn pro.Â
Montreal Canadiens’ 2023-24 Team Awards
April 12, 2024 by Trege Wilson
With the season winding down and the hockey world talking about the playoffs, Montreal Canadiens fans are again left out of the conversation. The Unlikely Resurgence of Canadiens’ Joel Armia
April 11, 2024 by Luc LeBlanc
With yet another season near the bottom of the standings coming to a close, fans may begin to reflect on much of the team’s progression since October. Juraj Slafkovsky, fresh off of his first career hat trick, has blossomed into a completely different player than the one who scored just eight points in the team’s first 31 games. Nick Suzuki became the first Canadiens centre to score 30 goals since 1995-96, and the first player to score 75 points since Alex Kovalev in 2008-09. Mike Matheson has nearly doubled his previous career-high point total, and Cole Caufield has reached 60 points for the first time in his young career.

April 11, 2024 by Ryan Szporer
Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield just hit maybe the quietest 60 points you’ll ever come across. You’d be excused for not knowing. Firstly, the team’s dominant 9-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on April 10 overshadowed his lone assist to get there.
