Although the Boston Bruins got a big comeback win against the Florida Panthers on Oct. 30, it came with a big price. Matt Grzelcyk left the contest early after suffering an upper-body injury. Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery told reporters following the game that the Massachusetts native is expected to miss the next couple of weeks because of it. Due to this, the Bruins are likely to call up a defenseman. Let’s discuss three of their top options now.
3 Takeaways From Bruins’ 3-2 Overtime Win Over Panthers

Although it is still quite early in the regular season, Oct. 30’s contest against the Florida Panthers was a big one for the Boston Bruins. It was the first time that they faced the Panthers since they epically collapsed against them in the first round last postseason, so the B’s looked for redemption. Although this game started off poorly for them, their determination and improved play allowed them to take this game by a 3-2 final score in overtime. It was a big win for the Bruins, and here are three notable takeaways from the contest now.

Bruins: First Impressions of New Additions for 2023-24

After the historic 2022-23 regular season and its disappointing end, many were curious and maybe a bit apprehensive for the next season to begin, especially with the retirements of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. Without any “major” signings, there were concerns with how they would be able to replace the two superstars.
So far though, the Bruins have played well, and the new faces have played instrumental parts in their 7-0-1 start. They have, of course, also contributed to some of the challenges the team has faced so far. But overall, many of them have made a positive first impression at the beginning of their tenure as a Bruin.
