Top 3 Bruins Trade Candidates for 2023-24 Season
October 13, 2023 by Michael DeRosa
The Boston Bruins began their 2023-24 season with a strong 3-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. It was a great way to start the campaign, but this new season is just beginning. When looking at the Bruins’ current roster, it is clear that they have a few trade candidates to pay attention to during the year. Let’s discuss their three most notable trade candidates right now.
Bruins Third Line Meshing Early
October 13, 2023 by Brandon Share-Cohen
The Boston Bruins started off the 2023-24 season with a win Wednesday when they beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 in their home opener. The team’s defense was stifling and the transition game was strong throughout the contest. Also notable throughout the game was the performance of the team’s third line, featuring rookie Matthew Poitras who made the opening roster after an eye-opening preseason made it impossible to deny him a spot.
Bruins Prospects Lysell & Lohrei Headline Providence Roster
October 13, 2023 by Scott Roche
Prospects Matthew Poitras and John Beecher made the roster out of camp for the season-opener against the Chicago Blackhawks, but some were sent down to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League (AHL). The 2023-24 AHL season for the P-Bruins begins Friday night (Oct. 13) at home against the Hartford Wolf Pack and there is no shortage of talent for coach Ryan Mougenel to work with this season.
3 Bruins’ Predictions for First Half of 2023-24 Season
October 12, 2023 by Hannah Garfield
The first half of this season will be important as the Bruins embark on life post Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci (fun fact, rookie center Matthew Poitras was born in 2004, after Bergeron’s NHL debut). While a poor first half won’t necessarily count a team out of the playoffs, it can certainly create an uphill battle.
With all that being said, the next few months are going to be very telling for the Bruins. Who are they without Bergeron and will they be able to continue their playoff streak in 2023-24? Who knows exactly what is going to happen in the next few months, but I do have a few predictions.
