The Boston Bruins will be without Matthew Poitras for the remainder of the 2023-24 season after the young forward underwent a successful right shoulder open stabilization procedure, expected to carry a recovery time of five months. The 19-year-old missed four games with an upper-body injury suffered in the team’s Jan. 9 game against the Arizona Coyotes.
