Bruins Need to Find a Way to Get Dreadful Power Play Back on Track

One day at a time. That is what the Boston Bruins have to keep telling themselves. After losing three games in a row, they had their backs against the wall and faced another wall of adversity. The roles are reversed, and this time the Bruins are the team aiming to climb out of a 3-1 hole they dug for themselves.
The Bruins grinded it out in Game 5 and showed how desperate they were in order to win a hockey game. It was arguably their best defensive performance as a team and goaltender Jeremy Swayman returned to his Game 1 form.
It was a great effort and it’s that kind of effort it’s going to take to win two more games against a strong Florida Panthers team. However, if they are going to secure a victory, the Bruins are going to need to figure out how to capitalize on the power play.
Bruins Desperation and Defensive Effort Help Them Force Game 6

The Boston Bruins live to fight another day. After all, it is what Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman guaranteed after their Game 4 loss. Upon the conclusion of the last game, he went on to say,
With the season on the line, the Bruins showed how desperate they were to start the game and they never let up. This was the best game for them from a standpoint of generating offense and it was enough to secure the victory.

Bruins Must Acquire Elite Scorer This Offseason

The Boston Bruins are on the brink of elimination from the 2024 NHL Playoffs. After winning Game 1 against the Florida Panthers in dominant fashion, they have lost three consecutive, scoring just five goals along the way. The Panthers have been able to expose a gap in the Bruins roster that they must address this offseason: the lack of a legitimate top-line goalscorer outside of David Pastrnak.
